I love it. If you do know, you are enriching your experience by maximizing the precious minutes in your day. Students who "wait" for life to happen to them are probably not enjoying their time as much as others. A little reflection at the start of an activity allows for some meta analysis and/or cognitive coaching during it, and of course makes for a meaningful reflection afterwards.
